Aboriginal Steve's Boomerang Page

These advanced boomerangs will require an understanding of wind conditions, proper tuning techniques and flight dynamics. These booms are not recommended for beginners. Advanced throwers will appreciate the design and quality of these unique competition booms. Make room for these fine rangs once you master the rest.

Composite Material Boomerangs are made from super strong resin-impregnated materials. In this case I've combined G-10 grade phenolic with Carbon Fiber for extra toughness. "G-10" is a phenolic material, but rather than paper or linen the base material is fiberglass. Boomerangs made from phenolics are thinner and denser than wooden booms of the same thickness, which makes these the booms of choice for windy conditions and increased range. G-10 boomerangs are almost indestructible!

Wicked Stealth: A small to medium "V" design with flared tips. The "Wicked Stealth" has a functional look and feel to it. This boomerang can handle major wind when flapped and thrown correctly. It's dead on accuracy make this a perfect boomerang for the Aussie Round competition. No gimmicks, no bull, just function you can rely on!

Xanadu: The Xanadu is the ultimate boomerang for Aussie Round competition. Unequal arms, differing cord width and competition air foils really set this rang apart from "sport boomerangs". The Xanadu is made from "stealth" material so plan on this boom being with you for life!

Range 50 meters

Classic Hook: A medium sized Hook boomerang made from the G-10/Carbon Fiber material. The originator of this shape was Herb Smith of Sussex England. This boomerang can be thrown out 80 meters and still have accurate returns. It's an incredible sight to see. With aggressive air foils and some additional weight this design is capable of 100 meter flights. Please note, this is not a picture of the Classic Hook. While similar in shape the Classic Hook has a smaller more rounded end on the lefting arm. The material itself is awesome. When clear coated you are able to see through the layers of G-10 and into the Carbon Fiber. For this reason I usually leave part of the boomerang unpainted to give this very drastic affect which looks great. Feedback from my customers also agree.

Range 80-100 meters

How to order

Disclaimer: A boomerang is not a toy. It is a serious sporting article. A boomerang's flight can be unpredictable at times, so do not throw near people or property. You, the boomerang thrower, are liable for the use and/or misuse of the boomerang. If you cannot accept this fact, do not buy a boomerang.

As with any sport, injury is a possibility. Do not try to catch your boomerang if it is coming at you in an unsafe flight pattern. Always warn others who may be in danger. Younger children should be supervised by a responsible person. Always use common sense when throwing and be a credit to the sport.

Be sure to specify right hand or left hand boomerangs.
