NT 5.0 becomes Windows 2000
Product delivery delays lead to Microsoft renaming the next version of Windows NT "Windows 2000," carrying on a naming strategy begun when the release date of the successor to Windows 3.x was repeatedly rescheduled. But it turns out that Microsoft made the decision
