Special Events and Attractions
EATM offers great ways for kids of all ages to get involved with America's Teaching Zoo. You can visit the zoo with your school. You can bring your human friends to the zoo to celebrate your birthday, or invite us to a party at your home. You can attend a week-long day camp, and work with the animals, hands-on!
An exciting show featuring live wild animals can make learning fun. Private educational presentations are offered for school groups of all ages, from pre-school to college level. The shows are performed weekday mornings at 10 a.m. For an additional fee, your group can have a guided tour of America's Teaching Zoo immediately following the show.
The fee for shows is $70 for up to 30 people and $1 for each additional person. The Wildlife Theater can accommodate up to 250 people. The fee for tours is $50.
Saturday Morning Birthday Parties at the Zoo
Make a birthday celebration extra special with a private animal show. These shows are offered Saturday mornings. Picnic after the show and enjoy a walk around the zoo.
The fee for birthday shows is $100 for your entire group (up to 50 people) and includes access to our picnic area.

Send your child on safari for a week in Moorpark. Our day camp is one week long, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Camps are offered for students entering grades 1 through 8. High school students can enroll as Junior Counselors.
The week includes a glimpse at animal training, feeding, cleaning, and safety. Hands-on experiences will make your child the envy of all his or her friends.
The fee is $120 for all campers and counselors.
