The City of Simi Valley has adopted municipal codes to enhance the quality of life for its residents and provide equitable standards for the business community. Code Enforcement administers programs,
responding to citizen questions and concerns regarding many diverse issues. If a problem occurs, it is often best to first try and resolve it by discussing it with your neighbor, homeowner's association, or business
person. However, if you can't work out an acceptable resolution, Code Enforcement staff may assist you in resolving concerns occurring in the following areas.
Animal Regulation Illegal Rubbish Haulers Outside Storage of Materials Property Maintenance Stagnant Swimming Pools Temporary Signs Trash Accumulations
Trash Cans not placed behind a side yard gate, fence, or wall Weed Abatement on vacant parcels
Complaints may be filed with Code Enforcement in person, by mail, or by telephone. It is necessary to provide the address or location of the complaint and a description of the problem. The complaining
