Americans West Presents Americans the Beautiful Cat Show March 28-29,1998 Boy what a busy show. Not only were there people showing their cats (Da) But their was a very busy bunch of exhibitors writing letters (lots of letters). I must say that people are not taking this AB1856 lightly. Beside the letter writing, a small fortune was unmasked, as people generously donated money for the legislative fund. We had a 50/50 raffle. I went prepared to beg on my knee's through the aisles. When I approach Marti & Lowell Seamens Marti said; I never wins these things, but since its for a good cause, we will. They went for it, and won. I guest just about everyone bought a ticket. How's that, for sprite! It's nice to know that people in this region are able to put their difference aside and work for a common goal.I always believe if you LOOK hard enough you will find a little bit of good in everyone. This weekend I had 20/20 vision! I like to give special that's to all the people what work hard on defeating this Bill. Even if the the worst happens we can be proud of putting up a good fight!. I expecially want to thank the following people (I am going to need some help with names here): Mandi Wooldridge Chair, Christopher Bock co-chair -California Legislative Committee: and The members of Ameriecans West for putting on a great show. |
