National Birman Fanciers is a CFA breed club devoted to the Birman, also known as the Sacred Cat of Burma. NBF has members worldwide, publishes a quarterly newsletter for its members, and produces two all breed cat shows annually:Gulf Shore Region in June and North Atlantic Region in October
Over the years NBF has contributed over $10,000 to the Winn Feline Foundation and has made contributions to the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University and the CFA Animal Disaster Relief Fund.

NBF MISSION STATEMENT

- Sponsor and Promote the welfare of the Birman: Sacred Cat of Burma
- Promote interest in and knowledge of the Birman.
- Cultivate friendship among and promote the interest of the owners, fanciers and breeders of the Birman.
- Promote and encourage kindness to all animals and assist in the prevention of cruelty to and maltreatment of animals.
