You guys and gals put on a wonderful show again this year. I have attended
all 4 years. "You all" really out do yourselves. I am also please
that my cat GP Idlemaine Dream Maker (Mac), black and white Maine Coon,
was highest scoring in Premiership. I have also gotten a number of
messages that our (Mac and I) picture was in the Dallas Morning News this

Well, once again, the NBF GSR regional show came off with a bang. Hats off to Jan Rogers and the crew from NBF for another outstanding show! If anyone has never attended, this is one of the most fun shows in the fancy - make plans for next year now. It will be the last weekend in June, one week after the CFA annual meetings. A _few_ of the highlights, as I see them: Pam DelaBar holding up GP Birjanji's Nevada Bluechip, who was asleep in the 'donut' position, for at least five minutes, then having the clerk call for the owners. Then saying, "I think I broke your cat." Tai Ming's Topper being selected unanimously by the judges as the best of the 'new' colors, and Frances Price being awarded the 9 silver bells for him. GC Forevermore's Trist'n Shout, who came into the show needing 6 points for his Grand. Sharon Lann told me she didn't expect him to do anything. I guess he didn't do much, except take the purple in the first ring for his Grand, then taking the Best Birman Champion award for the show. Karen Bailey-Helmhold seemed to be in every ring every time I looked. She was taking so many rosettes, I wondered if there'd be any left for anyone else! Norma Placchi being given a cake and some presents in the hospitality suite as a thanks for her years of judging. Rebecca Thompson-Cimino for the Birman paws in the hospitality suite. (I got 2 well marked ones, and Jan mixed me a 'pet quality' one, so I guess I only got a crippled, pet Birman inside.) :) I think Rebecca also had the oldest and youngest Birmans in the show. Outstanding Birmans all over the place! I bet there are six CFA judges who'll be seeing white paws in their dreams for months! Several rings had 4 Birmans in finals, and one had 5! Again, congratulations to everyone who brought such an outstanding class of Birmans, and to Jan and the folks from NBF GSR for putting on such a great show. I wonder what they'll do next year to top this one?
