This website was created by Dick Travis for the purpose of documenting a 23 day journey from California to The British Isles from May 20 to June 12, 2000.  My wife Liz and I were lucky to have had my son (Tom) plan the Ireland portion of the trip as well as have him chauffeur us around Ireland.  Tom and his wife Linda went on to Germany after their week with us in Ireland.

We were also very lucky to have 20 wonderful people join us in London for the Globus Bus trip through the United Kingdom.

Pictured below is my wife (Liz) and my son and daughter-in-law (Tom & Linda) in Dublin.
